In 1992, as students of the University of Kansas, we recognized the need for transporting students’ belongings to and from universities. Initially, a group of friends rented a truck and hauled our boxes home for the summer. The concept caught on and a demand evolved. We thought that offering door to door delivery service would make the moving experience easier for both parents and students. Our route began small with deliveries to and from Kansas. As word spread that this type of service was available, we received numerous calls asking us if we could expand our services to other universities.
Two years later we founded College Movers. We extended our services to include; Indiana University, University of Illinois, University of Iowa, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Michigan, and others. We are continuing to look to add new schools, and fine better ways to service our customers.
Over the years we have grown to be the largest college moving company in the Midwest. Our main goal is to continue providing our clients with exceptional customer service.
